Job summary

ESAB Corporation is seeking a Software Developer to join the Digital Solution Connectivity team in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will design, implement, and maintain embedded Linux software components in C++ for connectivity with the InduSuite system.

The role focuses on developing scalable, reliable software across embedded Linux and connected platforms, collaborating with R&D, cloud and architecture teams in a global setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software design experience.
• Degree in CS or Software Engineering.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience with embedded systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain software solutions based on input requirements.
• Develop and maintain Linux embedded/software platform components, primarily in C++.
• Debug and troubleshoot across application code.
• Apply secure and robust programming practices.
• Estimate tasks and plan software work.
• Create technical documentation and instructions.
