Bytespoke is looking for a Snowflake Architect to join our data team in Stockholms kommun, Sweden. You will design and implement data architectures and lead migrations to Snowflake, ensuring high performance and security.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data warehousing and strong expertise in Snowflake. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing / Cloud Data Solutions.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, optimization, and advanced features.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, dbt, Talend, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level data architectures using Snowflake.
• Lead the migration of large-scale data warehouses to Snowflake.
• Define best practices for Snowflake performance optimization, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop reusable frameworks for data pipelines, ingestion, and transformation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Data Warehousing / Cloud Data Solutions.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, optimization, and advanced features (Time Travel, Cloning, Data Sharing, Streams & Tasks).
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, dbt, Talend, Matillion, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling (3NF, star schema, snowflake schema).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
