Strativ Group is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer or Snowflake Architect to join a major data transformation project for a client in Sweden.

The role is freelance/contract with ASAP start; you will design, build, and optimize a modern cloud data platform using Snowflake, dbt, Python, SQL, and orchestration tools like Airflow.

You will work with data engineers and stakeholders, focusing on scalable pipelines, governance, security, and cost optimization.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake expertise, including platform design and optimisation.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP environments.
• Experience designing modern data warehouses and scalable data platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop and optimise scalable data pipelines and architectures using Snowflake.
• Build robust ETL/ELT processes and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Lead Snowflake platform design, performance tuning and cost optimisation.
• Work with Python, SQL and modern data transformation tools such as dbt.
• Implement data modelling, governance and security best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders on wider cloud data transformation initiatives.
