Job summary

Airswift is seeking an experienced Site Planner for a major engineering and construction project on a rotational basis. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and monitoring project schedules while supporting engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Working closely with stakeholders, vendors, contractors and site teams, you will ensure accurate progress reporting, schedule management and delivery, with strong emphasis on planning input at meetings and in project

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules aligned with milestones.
• Monitor progress and prepare regular planning and progress reports.
• Track engineering, procurement, and construction activities within the schedule.
• Coordinate activities between engineering teams, contractors, vendors and clients.
• Support project document control and design coordination tasks.
• Review specifications to ensure alignment with planning activities.
• Coordinate deliverables and responses; manage RFIs and queries.
• Monitor material status and procurement activities including SAP tracking.
• Support project controls, forecasting, reporting, and schedule optimization.
• Conduct site and vendor visits as required.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Planner to join a major engineering and construction project on a rotational basis.

This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules while supporting engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Working closely with project stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and site teams, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate progress reporting, schedule management, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules in line with project requirements and milestones
• Monitor project progress and produce regular planning and progress reports
• Track engineering, procurement, and construction activities within the project schedule
• Coordinate activities between engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and clients
• Support project document control and design coordination activities
• Review project specifications and ensure planning activities align with project requirements
• Coordinate engineering deliverables, document submissions, and responses
• Monitor material status and procurement activities, including SAP tracking and reporting
• Support construction teams through effective coordination of RFIs and engineering queries
• Monitor vendor performance and expedite critical deliverables where required
• Ensure design changes are communicated and reflected within project schedules
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning input to stakeholders
• Support project controls, forecasting, reporting, and schedule optimisation activities
• Conduct site and vendor visits as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Planner, Project Planner, or Planning Engineer within major projects
• Advanced Primavera P6 experience
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning project lifecycles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including P&IDs
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SAP is highly desirable
• Strong planning, organisational, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced site environment
