Job summary

Stegra is seeking a Shift Manager for the Planning & Shipping team at Boden, Northern Sweden. You will lead the shift, coordinate packaging lines, coil warehouse and shipping to meet production, quality and delivery targets while upholding safety and compliance.

You should have 5+ years of industrial experience with 2+ in leadership, knowledge of ISO standards, and strong teamwork. English required; Swedish a plus. We offer relocation support and a nature-friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industrial experience with 2+ years in leadership.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Experience with safety protocols and ISO 9001/14001/45001 preferred.
• Strong process and equipment knowledge; safety procedures.
• Ability to lead, coach, empower colleagues and foster safety culture.
• Teamwork, communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with office, maintenance, information and purchasing systems; English required; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the shift team in packaging lines, warehouse, and shipping to meet targets.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation and monitor process parameters.
• Promote a strong safety culture and address unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance, analyze deviations, and identify productivity improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate events to stakeholders.
• Coach and develop team members; delegate and rotate responsibilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
