Job summary

Lyten is seeking a Shift Manager to lead production on the shop floor, building and directing your shift teams to meet production goals and safety standards. You will develop onboarding plans, ensure SOPs are followed, and drive continuous improvement using Lean methods.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and report on KPI performance while maintaining a strong culture of safety and quality on site in Sweden.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead manufacturing shifts and teams.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and production metrics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• English skills essential; Swedish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift teams including recruitment activities and interviews with cross-functional partners.
• Operate on the shop floor within a defined shift model to meet demand and maintain output.
• Provide onboarding and development plans ensuring competence validation.
• Ensure SOPs and workflows are followed by the team.
• Assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor performance and deviations.
• Identify improvements and implement lean initiatives; track KPI performance.
• Oversee shift handovers, safety protocols, and risk analyses.
• Collaborate with other teams and manage resources to meet customer demand.
