Job summary

Scania Sverige AB, Western Region, is seeking a Service Manager for the Hisings Backa site near Gothenburg. You will lead workshop operations, develop the team, and drive service sales and customer satisfaction for premium Scania products and services.

You will shape the management team, recruit and plan workforce, and be accountable for financial performance, safety, and the work environment while collaborating with vehicle sales and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of the heavy truck and bus industry.
• Experience from a dealership within the heavy vehicle industry.
• Excellent communication in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving license is required.
• Category C and/or D driving licenses are considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead workshop operations to maximize customer and employee satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to inspire confidence.
• Shape the management team, recruit and workforce planning, develop a strong team.
• Own business results and be accountable for operational management including forecasting, financial performance, and follow-up.
• Ensure safety, health and the work environment.
• Participate in the site management team and be a member of Scania Western Region's Management Team.
