Job summary

EDAG Group is seeking a Senior UX Designer in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will join a collaborative, skilled UX community focused on world-class digital products and services.

You’ll drive user-centered design across complex platforms, turning customer insights into intuitive experiences. You will work with Product Owners, Analysts, Developers, stakeholders, and fellow designers to deliver designs from discovery to implementation and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, HCI, interaction design or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional UX/UI design experience.
• Proven experience leading UX initiatives from discovery to delivery.
• Strong portfolio of digital product and service design work.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.
• Experience collaborating within Agile product development environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end UX design from discovery through delivery and optimization.
• Transform complex requirements into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join a collaborative and highly skilled UX community focused on creating world-class digital products and services. You will play a key role in driving user-centered design across complex platforms, helping transform customer insights into intuitive, impactful, and business-driven digital experiences.

As part of a cross-functional product team, you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Stakeholders, and fellow Designers to deliver exceptional user experiences from discovery through implementation and continuous improvement.

What You will Do

User Research & Strategy

• Champion the voice of the user through qualitative and quantitative research.
• Generate actionable insights that drive product strategy and design decisions.
• Define experience metrics, success criteria, and hypotheses to measure product impact.
• Conduct user research, usability evaluations, and customer validation activities.

UX & UI Design

• Drive the end-to-end design process from concept, ideation, and prototyping to delivery and optimization.
• Transform complex requirements into intuitive user journeys, workflows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Create high-quality UX and UI designs using established design systems.
• Ensure solutions are accessible, scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with brand and platform standards.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with stakeholders and product teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align user needs, business goals, and technical requirements.
• Present and communicate design recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support development teams during implementation to ensure design quality and consistency.

Leadership & Community Contribution

• Mentor and guide other designers, providing feedback and fostering growth.
• Contribute to UX best practices, methodologies, and design culture.
• Actively participate in broader UX communities, knowledge sharing initiatives, and design improvement efforts.
• Advocate for design thinking and user-centered practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Service Design, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design.
• Proven experience leading UX initiatives from discovery through delivery.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful digital product and service design work.
• Experience designing complex workflows, applications, and digital services.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating within Agile product development environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Service Design and customer journey mapping experience.
• Strong visual and interaction design capabilities.
• UX research, usability testing, and insight generation expertise.
• Experience working with design systems and accessibility standards.
• Interest or experience within transportation, mobility, connected services, or digital platforms.
• Experience mentoring or coaching designers and product teams.
