Job summary

Schneider Electric in Lund is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join a DevOps–driven team focused on automated testing and quality. You will monitor production and non-production environments, investigate complex customer issues, and help shape the testing strategy across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual and automated testing for complex web projects.
• Experience working in a DevOps team.
• Write simple, understandable code in TypeScript.
• Willingness to regularly learn new technologies and ecosystems.
• Clear written and verbal communication of tech decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PROD and NON-PROD environments and pipelines; automate tests.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and reproduce complex customer problems in the test environment.
• Represent the Test Discipline in the team across development phases.
• Coach team members on writing the right automated tests.
• Write new automated tests, update and maintain the test suite.
• Exploratory verification of new features.
