Key job responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect, you will work directly with customers to accelerate their mission-critical projects and recommend best-practice architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.

You will also:

• Educate customers of all sizes on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• You will own the technical relationship with the customer and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide. You will share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform.
• Take a leading role in the creation and capture of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts). Evangelize and educate about AWS technology and industry trends (e.g. workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).
• Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.
• Develop areas of depth in technical domains relevant to your interests and your customer's outcomes.

A day in the life

You will have the opportunity to work with account managers to help ISV customers accelerate their cloud implementation to modernize their business on AWS. Working with these customers, you will help them transform existing workloads by designing modern target architectures optimized for business agility, innovation, performance, resiliency, cost, security, and more using both native and partner solutions.

Our teams focus on understanding customer key business drivers as well as the existing application architecture(s) to deliver a technical recommendation to the customer with a goal of designing a robust cloud architecture that can scale as their business requires.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges
• Experience in managing complex sales processes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in Business English skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certifications(e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional)
• Experience architecting or migrating workloads on AWS or other major cloud platforms(Azure, GCP)
• Experience creating technical content(white papers, reference architectures, blog posts) or delivering public-facing presentations (workshops, meetups, conferences)
• Familiarity with enterprise IT landscapes in Nordics, Benelux or the broader EMEA region, including ISV/SaaS partner ecosystems
• Expertise in one or more of the following: DevOps, Containers, Serverless, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Application Migration & Modernisation and Business Transformation.
