Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement for your customers, from discovery to production launch, working alongside the customer and partner teams who design, build and run their solutions.
• Understand each customer’s business priorities and build the business case for the solutions you recommend, working with Account Managers on account plans and opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CTOs, business leaders and engineering teams. Review their architectures and work with them on improvements to AI strategy, security, reliability and cost.
• Lead technical workshops, and design and build demos and proofs of concept end to end that show customers their use cases working on AWS.
• Mentor junior Solutions Architects and interns through design reviews, joint customer engagements and regular feedback.
• Build deep expertise in at least one domain (e.g. GenAI, data and analytics, security) and turn your engagements into reusable assets for the wider team.

Senior Solutions Architect, Europe North CSC Tech team

Do you like helping customers make hard technical decisions and then seeing those decisions through to production? Until now, our customers in Europe North have been supported remotely. We are building a team in Stockholm so they can work with Solutions Architects who are in the room when it matters.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be the technical lead for a portfolio of customers, working with Account Managers to help them succeed on AWS, with a focus on generative and agentic AI, data and analytics, and security, as well as migration and modernization. The role needs both technical depth and business acumen: you will shape architectures together with customer teams, and you will also understand the customer’s business well enough to tie each solution to measurable outcomes such as revenue, cost and time to market. You will also mentor the junior Solutions Architects and interns on the team and help them grow into confident customer-facing architects.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement for your customers, from discovery to production launch, working alongside the customer and partner teams who design, build and run their solutions.

A day in the life

You might start the day on site with a customer’s engineering team, reviewing the agentic AI architecture they have designed and agreeing improvements together, with an intern alongside you. In the afternoon you review a junior colleague’s design before they present it, then build a demo for next week’s workshop.

About the team

You will join a team of Solutions Architects based in Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates. We share knowledge, specialize in different domains and support each other on complex engagements. In Stockholm, you will be the senior architect on site, working alongside our Solutions Architect interns, and you will help shape how the team grows there.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics)
• 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and presenting them to senior technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience mentoring junior engineers, architects or interns, or a strong interest in developing others
• Hands-on experience bringing generative AI or agentic AI solutions to production
• Experience with data and analytics platforms, or with migration and modernization projects
• Experience with cloud security, such as identity and access management, data protection, threat detection or compliance
• AWS Professional or Specialty certification
• Proficiency in Swedish and/or another Nordic language
