Job summary

Aras Corporation in Sweden seeks a Senior Solution Architect to lead the delivery of PLM solutions, overseeing planning, design, construction and transition while aligning with customer requirements. You will coordinate with stakeholders and project managers to ensure successful outcomes.

The role demands strong leadership, architecture expertise, and the ability to operate across global teams, with up to 25% travel in the Nordic region and English/Swedish communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an Architect role within enterprise software, preferably PLM.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in Automotive, Consumer Products, High Tech Electronics, Medical Devices, Aerospace, Defense, Shipbuilding.
• Strong relationship building with colleagues and external customers.
• Effective communicator in difficult customer situations.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Able to create clear requirements, SoWs, and Use Cases.
• Fluent in English and Swedish for international communication.
• Willing to travel up to 25% within the Nordic region.
• Swedish citizenship required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a technical implementation team in all aspects of solution delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into technical PLM solutions using Aras Innovator.
• Run workshops, build consensus, ensure timely delivery aligned with business value.
• Lead and support development of requirements, Use Cases, and specifications.
• Prepare customer-facing proposals and statements of work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PLM solution delivery.

As a Senior Solution Architect at Aras, you have the overall ownership of the solution delivery. Demonstration of technical leadership, organization skills, and the ability to collaborate with key customer stakeholders and internal project managers are essential in ensuring success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a technical implementation team in all aspects of solution delivery
• Transform customer requirements into technical solutions by using thorough understanding of solution design and the Aras Innovator architecture and applications
• Facilitate workshops, develop solutions, build consensus across all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned with business value
• Lead as well as support the development of requirements specifications, Use Cases, and functional specifications
• Perform solution analysis, develop customer facing proposals and contribute to the development of statements of work
• Facilitate and contribute to continuous improvement of how we deliver PLM solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience working with enterprise software implementations in an Architect role, preferably within PLM
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in any of the following verticals: Automotive, Consumer Products, High Tech Electronics, Medical Devices, Aerospace, Defense, Shipbuilding
• Strong relationship building skills with both colleagues and external customers.
• Must be an effective communicator in difficult customer situations
• Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
• Ability to contribute to creating clear and understandable Requirements, SoW’s, Specification Documents and Use Cases
• Fluent in English and Swedish for communication in an international environment
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within the Nordic region

Swedish citizenship is required – since security clearance in Sweden will be needed for some assignments
