Job summary

Sinch AB in Stockholm seeks a strong Software Engineer to join our product engineering team. This role is a 50/50 split between backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Java backend services and modern React-based web applications.

You will own the full product lifecycle—from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring. We use Java, NodeJS, React, and TypeScript, and you will collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams while embracing DevOps practices

Qualifications

• Strong experience building backend systems in Java.
• Experience building REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Solid experience with React and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of frontend architecture and modern web standards.
• Experience working in cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience making high-impact architectural decisions.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java.
• Build modern, scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Contribute to architectural decisions across backend and frontend.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of core systems.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud deployments).
