Job summary

Sinch is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver features end to end across a React frontend and Node.js backend. You will join a Stockholm-based team, collaborating with a Tech Lead and engineers, taking ownership of the product and driving quality through tests, code reviews, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong skills building and designing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS and web performance basics.
• Experience writing tests for backend and frontend.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Ability to design features end to end and explain choices.
• Clear communication in English and hybrid work from Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features end to end from UI to backend services.
• Develop REST APIs and work with SQL databases.
• Write tests for backend and frontend; ensure quality via reviews and CI/CD.
• Turn unclear requests into clear plans and trade-off analyses.
• Make simpler options when cost outweighs value.
