Job summary

Magnet Forensics in Göteborg is seeking a backend developer to join the Desktop Team. You’ll design, implement, and improve features for our flagship desktop products, participate in architecture decisions, and collaborate across R&D to drive innovation.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with a mix of office and remote work, adapting to business needs. Fluency in Swedish and English is required, with strong C#/.NET backend skills and Full‑stack capabilities. Experience with React is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in backend development (.NET, C#).
• Full-stack capability (frontend + backend).
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Resourceful problem-solver who enjoys tackling unique challenges.
• Collaborative environment with smart, humorous colleagues.
• Curious and eager to learn new things.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Experience in React.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Claude Code or similar).
• Experience with authentication solutions (e.g. Keycloak).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve new and existing features for our flagship desktop products.
• Participate in architecture and design decisions.
• Work closely with your team and the wider R&D organization to drive innovation.
• Adapt to changes as they arise from business and customer needs.
• Take ownership of your projects while writing clean, testable code.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Help reduce technical debt and improve automated testing.
• Step in to support advanced issues and help keep things running smoothly.
