Job summary

Solaris, Europe's leading embedded finance platform, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our core product engineering team. You will shape scalable, secure banking solutions and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to break down complex requirements and drive design, implementation, delivery, and operation.

Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership, architecture decisions, and cross-functional collaboration to align technical work with business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable products with Golang.
• Strong experience operating cloud-native apps on GCP/AWS/Azure.

Your Role

We're looking for a Senior Engineer to join one of our core product engineering teams in shaping the future of digital banking. You'll collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and fellow engineers to build secure, resilient, and reliable banking solutions. In this role, you'll work with other senior members of Solaris to break down complex requirements and drive the design, implementation, delivery, and operation of complex, high-scale financial services solving critical business and technical challenges.

As a Senior Engineer you will:

• Design and deliver scalable and secure backend systems, from architecture to production.
• Drive engineering excellence through a focus on code quality, system reliability, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering peers to align technical decisions with business outcomes.
• Take end-to-end ownership of systems, embracing the "You build it, you run it" philosophy from design to deployment and operations.
• Contribute to and guide architectural decisions and the long-term technical strategy within your team.

• Proven experience building scalable products with Golang.
