About the Role:

We are looking for a product-minded senior software engineer who enjoys building modern applications and solving real business problems.

This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on application development, primarily using TypeScript and Node.js. You will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders and other engineers to understand problems, challenge assumptions, shape solutions and build software that creates real customer value.

You will also help us evolve towards a more AI-assisted and specification-driven way of developing software, where automated testing is a natural part of delivering reliable software.

We are particularly interested in engineers who have fundamentally changed how they build software through AI-assisted workflows, rather than simply using AI as a coding assistant.

Success in this role is measured both by the software you build and by your ability to improve how the engineers around you work.

What You'll Do:

Build Products That Solve Real Business Problems

Design and build complete applications and services, from APIs, integrations and backend services to user-facing functionality.

Drive AI-Assisted Software Development

You will actively explore how AI can improve productivity and quality throughout the development lifecycle, including:

• Code review
• Documentation
• Debugging and troubleshooting

An important part of the role is turning successful experiments into practical workflows, guidelines and patterns that other engineers can use.

Improve Developer Effectiveness

Creating better conditions for engineers to build high-quality software efficiently is an important part of the role. This includes automated testing, strong development practices, reusable patterns and clear technical guidelines.

You will lead through technical expertise, curiosity and example - experimenting with new ideas, validating them in practice and helping others adopt approaches that create real value.

A solid understanding of modern cloud environments, CI/CD and software operations is important, while the primary focus remains application development rather than infrastructure.

Our technology landscape includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, Java, PHP , AWS and event-driven architectures.

We are moving towards TypeScript and Node.js as a core part of our modern application development, while Java- and PHP-based platforms remain an important part of our existing Experience across this landscape is valuable, but we care more about strong engineering fundamentals, application development skills and the ability to choose the right solution for the problem.
