Job summary

GlobalConnect is building a new Security Operations practice in the Nordic region. The Senior Security Operations Specialist will join a newly formed team, shaping services, delivering security monitoring, assessments, and advisory engagements for cloud-first environments.

You will deploy and configure security technologies in Hybrid/Azure/M365, collaborate with leadership, and help define service features and processes while supporting sales through workshops and scoping.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant cyber security experience across monitoring, assessments and consulting.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, M365) and security tooling.
• Ability to design, implement and optimize security controls and processes.
• Strong communication skills in English and one Nordic or German language.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily security operations: review configurations, monitor alerts, investigate issues, and deliver insight reports.
• Deliver security assessments and advisory engagements for hybrid cloud environments.
• Deploy and configure security technologies in Azure/M365 and hybrid setups.
• Support security engineering to improve controls, automation, and processes.
• Stay current on threats and defensive techniques to protect customers.
• Partner with sales to support scoping, proposals, and customer workshops.
