Overview

Senior Security Engineer, Product Security

The Senior Security Engineer position will be assigned to the Product Security team within the overall Security organization at Recorded Future. This individual will support all functions and aspects of Product Security at Recorded Future, including designing and implementing security solutions, investigating alerts, writing and tuning automated alerts, making security reviews of proposed new features and working with other engineers to help with security design, questions and other security aspects. This role will report to the Director of Platform Security, based in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions for product security
• Investigate alerts and write/tune automated alerts
• Perform security reviews of proposed new features
• Collaborate with other engineers on security design, questions, and related security aspects
• Support all functions and aspects of Product Security within Recorded Future

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience required
• Strong knowledge of computer security
• Background in coding, preferably Go and/or Python
• Cloud security knowledge, preferably AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform
• Interest in balancing productivity and security and building relationships with different teams
• Ability to perform risk assessments
• Comfort with Linux and the command line
• Good knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, REST and GraphQL
