As a Rock Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and reliable mining operations while supporting the long-term development of Kiruna Mine. You will work closely with mine planners, geologists, rock mechanics specialists, and other technical experts to provide geotechnical expertise for both current operations and future mine expansion projects. A significant part of the role involves contributing to prefeasibility studies for mining below the current main haulage level and helping to shape the future of underground mining.
In this position, you will combine hands‑on operational support with long‑term strategic development, helping shape the future of underground mining in Kiruna.
