Job summary

Flex Power Modules is seeking a Senior Research Electrical Engineer to advance next-generation power solutions for AI datacenters and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our CTO on high-impact research projects, shaping topology choices and driving lab, simulation, and field activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data-driven decision making, and opportunities to contribute to publications and patents within a collaborative, international team.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.
• Documented experience in electrical development in power electronics.
• Strong understanding of topologies including resonant and hard-switched solutions.
• Experience with 400/800V DC design.
• Basic understanding of software/firmware; PMBus and I2C knowledge.
• Proficient in circuit simulations; lab and field experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and shape advanced research projects for future power modules.
• Collect and analyze data from global hyperscalers and partners to influence roadmaps.
• Select appropriate topologies and contribute with practical lab work, simulations and field experience.
• Contribute to publications, white papers and patents in the field.
