Embark Studios AB is seeking an experienced FX Artist to create believable real-time effects for innovative games. You will be responsible for a variety of effects such as fire, explosions, and weather, ensuring a physically grounded experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional VFX experience in games, with at least one shipped title.
• Strong real-time VFX skills in a modern engine.
• Solid understanding of the physics and behavior behind realistic effects.
• Comfortable profiling and optimizing effects.

Responsibilities

• Create and own high-quality real-time visual effects.
• Build effects that balance visual fidelity and gameplay readability.
• Develop reusable VFX systems, tools, and libraries.
• Profile and optimize effects and debug issues across the pipeline.
