Dermicus, part of Omda, is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to own the React Native mobile app for iOS and Android in a small, close-knit team in Gothenburg and Stockholm.

You will lead mobile development, drive long-term strategy, collaborate with product, QA and clinical stakeholders, and help shape the product experience for clinicians. The role emphasizes ownership, initiative, and delivering high-quality, maintainable code in a regulated healthcare context.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping mobile applications.
• Strong React Native experience.
• Experience owning and leading mobile development, not just contributing to it.
• Proven ability to take initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic mindset.
• Comfortable making technical decisions and taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Curious, self-driven, and motivated to continuously learn.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, documentation, and maintainable code.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• An appreciation for good UI and UX, with the ability to contribute to product and user experience discussions when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Own and lead the development of our React Native application for iOS and Android.
• Drive technical decisions and help define the long-term mobile strategy.
• Lead major product and platform improvements from idea to production.
• Work closely with product management, developers, QA, and clinical stakeholders.
• Solve complex technical problems and ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Support the team wherever needed, whether that's mobile, frontend, backend integrations, or platform improvements.
• Help improve architecture, development practices, and engineering standards.
