Qualifications

Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Quality Inspector / Engineer – Electrical Equipment to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on
  • Plan and perform inspections at Siemens Energy and supplier facilities.
  • Follow up inspection results and actively contribute to resolving open issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Act as Project Supplier Quality Manager (PSQM) when required.
  • Support inspection coordination with Classification Societies.
  • Travel in Sweden and Europe as required (~60% of assignment time).
What you bring
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in inspection and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of PED, ASME, and/or structural design.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English; Swedish is a plus.
  • High level of order, structure, and attention to detail.
  • Administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and structured.
  • Flexibility to travel outside working hours and weekends when required.
  • Additional advantages: knowledge of other languages, relevant PED/ASME/AWS certificates, basic mechanical engineering understanding, and experience with SAP or PLM2020.
