Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing AI-native software team in Sweden. You will design scalable backend systems, build APIs, and contribute to data pipelines and platform services, shaping the product's technical direction.

You should have strong Python experience, hands-on with SaaS products, knowledge of cloud platforms and databases, and a product-minded, ownership-driven approach in a fast-moving environment. Exposure to AI/LLMs is a plus.

I'm currently partnering with an ambitious, AI-native software company looking to hire a Senior Backend Engineer to join a highly talented engineering team.

This is a business that has recently entered an exciting growth phase, with strong product momentum, significant investment in technology, and a real focus on applying modern AI capabilities to solve complex customer problems.

They're looking for someone who combines deep backend engineering expertise with curiosity for emerging technologies and a desire to build products that create real-world impact.

• Strong commercial experience with Python.
• Experience building and scaling modern SaaS or software products.
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and databases.
• Experience with data-intensive applications and backend services.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, LLMs, RAG architectures, or related technologies is advantageous.
• Product-minded approach to engineering.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to work autonomously.
• Comfortable operating within a fast-moving, growth-stage environment.

Tech Environment

The current engineering environment includes:
