Job summary

Sii Sweden is seeking an experienced engineer to strengthen the technical backbone of a large-scale retail platform. You will work across software development, automation, and infrastructure, ensuring reliable provisioning, deployment, and configuration management in distributed environments.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and QA teams to design, maintain, and evolve repeatable deployment tools and workflows, with emphasis on scalability, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Python programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management and CI/CD.
• Experience with virtualization and provisioning workflows.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and IP management.
• Familiarity with identity, secrets management, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based tools and automation scripts.
• Develop and improve a YAML-driven deployment and configuration framework.
• Integrate and operate automation and platform components.
• Support automation workflows for bare-metal provisioning and virtualized infrastructure.
• Enable stable, repeatable testing and deployment with QA and lab teams.
• Contribute to architectural discussions focusing on scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Share knowledge and contribute to documentation and best practices.

You will collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and QA/lab teams to design, maintain, and evolve the tools and systems used for repeatable deployments in distributed environments.

• Building and maintaining Python-based tools and automation scripts
