Job summary

Stora Enso in Sweden is seeking a Senior Process Specialist/Process Specialist to join our Pulp Competence Centre. The role leads development projects and optimizes fiberline processes at pulp mills, with hands-on work at mills in Sweden and Finland and at client sites.

You should have a university degree in pulping, chemical engineering, or automation, plus extensive experience (10+ years preferred) in pulp mill operations or development. Fluency in English and Swedish is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in pulping, chemical engineering, automation, or similar.
• Wide understanding of fiberline processes and operations.
• Experience from pulp mill operations or development (10+ years preferred).
• Familiar with distributed control systems (DCS).
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge; Green/Black belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects and process optimization with pulp mills in the fiberline area.
• Collaborate with mills and project sites; frequent site visits.
• Troubleshooting, value creation, and new process development.
• Design and tune process control and start-up activities; training support.
• Contribute to sustainability goals and process efficiency improvements.
