Job summary

Stora Enso Pulp Competence Centre in Sweden seeks a Senior Process Specialist/Process Specialist to lead and support development projects and process optimization in the fiberline area. The role involves frequent interaction with pulp mills and execution of projects at mill sites, requiring travel and strong collaboration across teams.

You should hold a university-level degree in pulping, chemical engineering, automation, or a related field, with ideally 10+ years of pulp mill experience and

Qualifications

University-level degree in pulping, chemical engineering, automation or similar.
Experience in pulp mill operations or development (preferably 10+ years).
Familiar with distributed control systems (DCS).
Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Wedge).
Lean and Six Sigma tools; Green/Black belt an advantage.
Experience with simulation systems (WinGEMS) and process control.

Responsibilities

Lead and support development projects and process optimization with pulp mills.
Collaborate with mills on fiberline processes and operations.
Troubleshooting, value creation projects, new process development and design.
Process control design and tuning; training, commissioning and start-up work.
