Job summary

American International Group (AIG) Nordic seeks a Senior Property Account Engineer/Field Engineer to join our Nordic and European Engineering teams in Sweden. The role focuses on risk assessment, loss prevention surveys and supporting underwriters with risk selection for large Nordic clients.

You will conduct property risk surveys, translate findings into service plans, and collaborate with clients, brokers and underwriting to prioritize improvements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in property risk engineering or field surveys.
• Fluent Swedish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform property loss prevention reviews of commercial property accounts.
• Document review results in a data-driven application.
• Conduct periodic client service meetings with underwriting, broker and client.
• Analyse and manage risk improvements and translate into a client service plan.
• Estimate the cost of engineering services.
• Conduct property loss prevention surveys at key facilities.
• Identify occupancy hazards and assess protection features.
• Determine fire and natural catastrophe loss estimates for a facility.
• Plan visits and reviews with customers.
