Job summary

Liminity AB seeks a Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager to drive a business-led SAP S/4HANA implementation in a complex industrial setting. You will design and embed end-to-end business processes across finance, procurement and manufacturing, coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders.

The role focuses on process design, alignment and governance rather than pure SAP technical work, with significant on-site time in Northern Sweden and Stockholm.

Qualifications

• More than 10 years of relevant experience in project/programme management.
• Experience leading complex ERP implementation programmes or large-scale business process transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing processes across multiple business functions.
• Experience with Order-to-Cash, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the programme from planning and process design through implementation, testing, deployment and stabilisation.

• Lead workshops and drive alignment on new business processes and procedures.

Senior Project Manager / Programme Manager - Business-Led SAP S/4HANA Implementation

About the role

We are looking for a senior project/programme manager to lead the next phase of a SAP S/4HANA implementation within a complex industrial operation. The core platform for finance and procurement is already in place - this phase is about designing and implementing the business processes and procedures that will support future industrial operations.

This is a business-led implementation programme. You will design the business processes from the ground up and make sure they are effectively implemented in SAP and connected digital systems. The role is leadership-oriented and business-facing rather than purely technical - the emphasis is on driving process design, coordination and alignment, not on deep SAP specialist expertise.

Scope

The initial focus is the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process:

• Sales and order management
• Product costing
• Logistics and delivery
• Commercial processes
• Invoicing and settlement

The role also covers related processes:

• Procurement
• Material handling and inventory transactions
• Production-related processes
• Quality and material movements
• Master data, integrations and interfaces with production-adjacent systems

Requirements (must-haves)

• More than 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong leadership with the ability to make decisions and, above all, orchestrate experts, functions and stakeholders toward common goals.
• Experience leading complex ERP implementation programmes or large-scale business process transformation initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing processes across multiple business functions.
• Experience with Order-to-Cash, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics or similar operational processes.
• A background in manufacturing, process industry, heavy industry, energy, chemicals, mining or another operationally complex environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with C-level stakeholders, business experts and end users.
• Proven change management capabilities that drive alignment and adoption.
• Experience managing implementation partners, risks, dependencies, testing activities and delivery governance.
• A solid understanding of enterprise IT: architecture, integration platforms, software development and testing.
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and establish structure in greenfield environments where processes and responsibilities are created for the first time.
• Willingness to spend significant time on-site in Northern Sweden as well as in Stockholm.

Meritorious

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (an advantage, but not essential).
• Experience from metals or steel production.
• Experience with end-to-end flows from supply chain and production through to customer fulfilment in complex industrial operations.

This role is likely not a fit if you

• Have experience limited to PMO coordination or administrative project management.
• Have only managed a technical SAP workstream without owning business process design and implementation.
• Lack experience working across multiple business functions.
• Have no background in manufacturing, process industry or another operationally complex environment.
• Are not comfortable leading workshops and facilitating decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Are unwilling to spend significant time on-site in Northern Sweden.

Location

Northern Sweden and Stockholm. The role requires significant on-site presence during the assignment.
