ESS in Lund, Sweden, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Project Directorate on a three-year fixed-term basis. This pivotal role supports the final transition from construction to steady-state operations.

You will provide project management support to the Business & Functions area and to the Operations and Machine Directorate to deliver the final stage of the transition and ensure safe, reliable operation of the facility.

ESS is at a critical, but exciting turning point. It is in the final stages of transitioning from the construction and commissioning stage to being a world-class, operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to join the ESS Project Directorate.

In this role, you will provide project management support to our Business and Functions (B&F) area and to our Operations and Machine Directorate to deliver the final stage of the transition from our current project phase to the steady state operations (SSO) phase of the facility. As such, this is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity for a period of three years. The role is based at the ESS main campus in Lund, Sweden.
