Job summary

Ultra Group AB in Gothenburg is seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer to join our Vehicle Motion Control team. You will contribute to development, calibration, and verification of powertrain functions for both combustion engines and hybrid systems.

The role demands strong MATLAB, Python and Simulink skills, hands-on testing, and structured reporting. You will analyze test data, validate drivability, and collaborate with modelling, coding, and data-processing teams to advance powertrain

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Physics Engineering.
Strong proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and Simulink.
Knowledge of powertrain controls, calibration, and vehicle drivability.
Valid Category B driving licence and fluent English.
Hands-on testing and ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

Calibrate and verify drivability‑related powertrain functions.
Validate and verify in laboratories and test vehicles under different conditions.
Analyze test data, investigate issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
Develop and improve calibration methods and testing processes.
Work with modelling, coding, simulation, and data‑processing tools.
Contribute to powertrain development and verification for combustion engines and hybrids.
Plan, execute, document, and report calibration activities.
