Job summary

Swedium Global in Stockholm, Sweden, seeks a Platform Software Engineer (Frontend-Leaning) to build frontend-facing experiences for a large-scale AI platform. You will work closely with backend and infra teams to transform complex infrastructure into intuitive interfaces.

The role emphasizes React and TypeScript, scalable UI design, and developer tools for deployments, observability, and platform configuration. English communication required; on-site, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Proficient in building complex frontend apps with React and TypeScript.
• Experience collaborating with backend/platform teams.
• Understanding of cloud deployments and modern delivery concepts.
• Experience building tools/interfaces for technical users.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts through good UI/UX design.
• Product-minded with focus on usability and maintainability.
• Strong communication in cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain frontend applications, dashboards, and control panels for platform management.
• Design intuitive UIs for configuration, observability, monitoring, and usage insights.
• Collaborate with backend/infrastructure teams to define APIs and data models.
• Translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear user experiences.
• Ensure frontend solutions are scalable and maintainable as platform complexity grows.
• Improve developer productivity by simplifying interactions with platform services.
• Surface platform health and operational insights through interfaces.
• Contribute to frontend engineering best practices and performance optimization.
