Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Payments Proposition & Go-to-Market Expert to own end-to-end commercial work from insight to launch across the Nordics. You will shape propositions, lead cross-functional teams and create customer-centric value plays that drive revenue and growth.

You will collaborate with senior executives, design go-to-market plans, build business cases and measure adoption, profitability and customer value across Cash Management, Trade & Working Capital, and Cards & Wallets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the financing business within payments, cash management or trade.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional work without formal authority.
• Strong strategic, analytical and financial skills with experience building business cases and using data to guide decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal English, plus fluency in at least one Nordic language.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of differentiated, evidence-based value propositions for priority payment, cash management and trade opportunities.
• Translate customer needs, market dynamics, competitor moves and regulatory change into clear commercial choices and strategic playbooks.
• Design and execute Nordic go-to-market strategies, including segmentation, positioning, packaging, pricing, sales enablement and launch orchestration.
• Build robust business cases and define success measures for revenue, adoption, profitability and customer value.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Product, Sales, Strategy, Technology and customer-facing units.
• Shape product and portfolio priorities so roadmaps reflect customer demand and commercial potential.
• Develop executive-level recommendations and compelling narratives for complex topics.
• Track market performance and customer response after launch to refine propositions.
