Job summary

SiNIX GROUP in Sweden is seeking an experienced application software engineer to join the electric drive system team. The role focuses on developing application software and basic software for motor drive systems, with room to improve an already mature code base.

You will work on efficiency upgrades, PWM modulation, switching strategies, and validation in test rigs, aiming to robust production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering or a similar field.
6–8 years of experience in automotive software development.
Solid experience with model-based development, ideally Simulink and TargetLink.
Good understanding of electric drive systems, power electronics and motor control functions.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve application software for the motor drive system using model-based development in Simulink and TargetLink.
Collaborate with basic software developers in the team.
Analyse and optimise PWM modulation and switching strategies to reduce losses.
Improve existing control functions and make them robust and production-ready.
Verify and validate software in test rigs, including logging and analysing data.
Share knowledge and support colleagues in the team.
