Job summary

SiNIX is seeking an experienced application software engineer to join the electric drive system team. You will develop and improve motor drive software, focusing on PWM modulation and loss reduction, working from model-based development in Simulink and TargetLink.

The role involves collaboration with basic software teams, rig testing, data logging, and ensuring production-ready robustness across the software stack.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of automotive software development experience.
• Hands-on with model-based development using Simulink and TargetLink.
• Strong knowledge of PWM strategies and switching losses.
• Experience with rig testing, data logging, and V&V processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve application software for the motor drive system.
• Collaborate with basic software developers in the team.
• Analyse and optimise PWM modulation and switching strategies to reduce losses.
• Improve control functions to be robust and production ready.
• Verify and validate software in test rigs and log data.
