Job summary

The City of Shakopee, MN is hiring a Senior Microwave Design Engineer to advance radar-based sensing technologies within the Microwave and Electronics group. This role involves designing and developing microwave solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and enhancing engineering processes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, experience in RF design, and be able to communicate effectively in English. The position is hybrid, based in Linköping with the possibility of working from home once a week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, focusing on high-frequency circuits.
• Experience in microwave, RF, or radar system design.
• Hands-on experience with circuit simulation and PCB layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve microwave solutions, including antennas and RF components.
• Contribute to product development phases from concept to production.
• Perform simulation, design, and validation of RF circuits.
