Responsibilities
- Coordination with the customer, project reporting (DXC-Luxoft project manager)
- Elaborate LIN / CAN or similar switchings / breakouts on the basis of requirements
- Carry out start-up and commissioning of the lab vehicles
- Assembly and wiring of electrical and mechanical components
- Integration of Measurement Racks/Systems into the test-vehicles
- Adaptation and build of measurement tech. components (wiring harnesses, etc.)
- Commissioning of measurement systems/test-vehicles
- Technical Documentation
SKILLS
Must have
- Electrical Design & Schematics: Ability to design and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with wiring harnesses and connector types (e.g., automotive-grade connectors)
- Knowledge of PCB design (optional but beneficial)
- Rack Building & Integration: Experience assembling test racks including power supplies, measurement equipment, and communication interfaces
- Power Distribution: Design of automotive power rails (12V, 24V systems), fusing, current protection, and grounding concepts, safe handling of high-power components
- Communication Protocols: Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet), use of tools like Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, or similar for validation/testing support
- Testing Equipment Integration: Experience integrating load simulators, signal generators, digital/analog I/O devices, HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems, understanding of DAQ (data acquisition) systems
- Environmental Considerations: Thermal management, rack safety standards
- Soft Skills & Competencies: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, high attention to detail for documentation and labeling, ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field, 5 years of experience in automotive or industrial hardware roles

- Experience with ISO 16750, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), or ASPICE
