Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Lead for major, data-centre style developments. You will oversee mechanical packages, coordinate with construction teams and suppliers, and ensure QA/QC compliance on site.

Key focus is delivering projects on schedule, coordinating with design and planning, and maintaining accurate records. Remuneration reflects seniority and market demand, with accommodation and travel components included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in mechanical construction on large projects.
• Experience managing mechanical packages and coordinating with multi-discipline teams.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, sequencing and programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage mechanical construction packages across all project stages.
• Oversee daily mechanical works on site with project teams.
• Lead QA/QC activities ensuring alignment with specs and standards.
• Coordinate with planners, subcontractors, consultants and design disciplines.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and maintain records and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and ensure timely information flow.
• Interface with design to ensure drawings and submissions meet priorities.
• Review drawings and submissions for proper coordination ahead of installation.
• Assist commercial reviews by monitoring variations and progress.
• Provide progress updates and manage snagging and close-out activities.
