Expleo Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of exterior plastic components, with a focus on bumper systems and exterior trim. You will design and maintain CATIA V5 models, ensuring manufacturability and robust interfaces for automotive applications.

The role requires advanced CATIA V5 skills, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to work 100% onsite in Sweden.

Formación

• Senior-level experience in mechanical design within the automotive industry.
• Strong experience with exterior plastic trim and bumper systems.
• Advanced CATIA V5 skills.
• Strong knowledge of plastic component design and injection molding.
• Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances and design for manufacturing/assembly.
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Sweden for the duration of the assignment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop exterior plastic components, particularly front/rear bumpers and exterior trim.

• Design components for automotive plastic manufacturing processes, particularly injection molding.
• Manage interfaces, tolerances, attachment concepts, gaps and flush requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams from concept to production release.
