Ultra Group in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to tailor mechanical solutions for truck customer requirements. You will assess the feasibility of non-standard configurations across the chassis and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities include CAD design, releasing new parts for customer adaptations, and supporting continuous improvement through technical analysis and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience.
• Hands-on CREO experience and familiarity with Volvo engineering systems like KOLA.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced mechanical engineers to develop tailored technical solutions for truck customer requirements. You will assess the feasibility of non-standard technical combinations across the chassis area and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of automotive industry experience
• Hands-on experience with CREO and KOLA or relevant Volvo engineering systems
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Proactive mindset, good communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

• Chassis packaging, components, and systems
• Customer adaptation and customized vehicle solutions
