Role

Ellos Group is now recruiting a Senior Measurement Specialist – an expert in tracking, Google Tag Manager, and server-side implementation. The role requires a technically skilled professional who will take full ownership of the company’s tracking infrastructure. It is both strategic and hands-on, positioning the candidate as the go-to expert for all aspects of digital measurement – from planning and implementation to documentation and continuous optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop tracking and data collection across Google Tag Manager (web & server-side)
  • Implement and maintain pixels, events, and conversion tracking for multiple platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, etc.)
  • Lead the setup and maintenance of server-side tracking, including container configuration and data flows
  • Define and align the dataLayer structure to secure accurate and consistent event tracking
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications for developers and stakeholders
  • Conduct QA and debugging to ensure data accuracy and tracking quality
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Advise on privacy compliance, GDPR, cookie consent frameworks and data handling
  • Driving best practices in measurement across all digital brands and channels within Ellos Group
Reporting and collaboration

This position reports to the E-commerce Business Analyst & Measurement Manager, with whom you will work closely to ensure consistency and accuracy in tracking and reporting across the organization. You will also collaborate actively with marketing, IT and digital partner(s), making cross-functional teamwork a key part of your daily work.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Web Analyst, Measurement Specialist, or similar
  • Deep expertise in GTM (web & server-side), dataLayer planning, and tag architecture
  • Solid knowledge of JavaScript for building custom tags and triggers
  • Experience with GA4, BigQuery, Looker Studio, and advanced event tracking
  • Strong skills in documentation and the ability to create actionable technical guidelines
  • Proven experience managing tracking across one or more e-commerce platforms
