Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Automation to help industrialize high‑volume HV battery assembly for EVs. You will shape end‑to‑end concepts, set line architecture, and drive RFQs with suppliers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have senior industrialization experience in automotive or battery manufacturing, can work independently, and collaborate across engineering and supplier networks. On-site role in Gothenburg.

Qualifications

• Senior-level industrialization experience in automotive, battery or high-volume automated production.
• Ability to work independently and own technical deliverables.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and suppliers.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end manufacturing concepts, process flows and station breakdowns.
• Define automation level, line architecture, material flow, buffers, interfaces and operating principles.
• Establish cycle-time assumptions, capacity logic and bottleneck strategy.
• Translate product and process requirements into RFQ-ready specs.
• Coordinate robotics, controls, mechanical equipment, quality, IT/OT and logistics interfaces.
• Evaluate supplier concepts and lead RFQ clarifications and design reviews.
• Perform feasibility, risk and trade-off analyses on cost, timing and footprint.
• Support verification, installation, ramp-up and production-readiness activities.
