Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking a Tooling & Equipment Mechanical Engineer to strengthen the Manufacturing Engineering team. You will lead mechanical development and assurance of production equipment, tooling, fixtures, nests, grippers and handling solutions for High Voltage Battery Assembly in automated production lines.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Senior-level industrialization experience in automotive or battery manufacturing.
• Proven ability to review 3D CAD concepts, drawings and supplier designs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review mechanical concepts for production stations, tooling, fixtures and grippers.
• Convert process and safety needs into technical equipment requirements.
• Review supplier layouts, 3D concepts, drawings and interface definitions.
• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with automation, robotics, controls, utilities and facilities.
• Support RFQ, supplier selection, design reviews, and commissioning.
• Drive risk assessments, tolerance reviews and issue resolution.
• Maintain documentation for handover and deviations.
