Job summary

Tata Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer within Automation to strengthen the team responsible for industrializing High Voltage Battery Assembly systems for Battery Electric Vehicles. The role covers cross-functional manufacturing processes, automated production equipment, and supplier collaboration.

You will drive automation concepts, line architecture, and production-system design to meet quality, capacity, safety and flexibility needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
Experience with automated manufacturing concepts and production-system architecture.
Experience with industrial automation and robotics integration.
Knowledge of RFQ development, supplier interaction and design reviews.

Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end manufacturing concepts, process flows and station breakdowns.
Define automation level, line architecture, material flow and interfaces.
Establish cycle-time assumptions, capacity logic and bottleneck strategy.
Translate product and process requirements into RFQ-ready technical specs.
Coordinate robotics, controls, mechanical equipment and IT/OT interfaces.
Support verification, commissioning, ramp-up and production-readiness activities.
