Job summary

Volvo Group in Gothenburg seeks a Senior Logistics Engineer, Projects and Investigations, to plan, coordinate and drive logistics projects that improve material flows and plant layout from suppliers to the Tuve plant. You will organize input from stakeholders, secure milestones and drive actions with lean structure and momentum.

You will lead cross‑functional work to design lean logistics processes, define strategies to reduce costs and ensure timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Project management skills including planning, execution and follow‑up.
• Experience from logistics environment with focus on material flow and handling.
• Good knowledge of Lean philosophy, problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to drive change and alignment.
• Holistic view with strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver logistics projects with clear milestones and owners.
• Lead cross‑functional work to design logistics processes using lean concepts.
• Define and drive strategies to optimize procedures, reduce costs and improve structure.
• Implement future material handling flows for physical and electronic processes.
• Initiate feasibility studies supporting the plant masterplan with clear risks and actions.
• Ensure alignment with other plants and provide actionable input to regional managers.
