Job summary

Axis Communications in Lund is seeking a seasoned Linux Specialist to own secure Linux-based platforms powering both IT services and manufacturing. You will drive automation, certificate management, and DNS infrastructure while shaping platform architecture.

You will collaborate with operations to document and support solutions, ensuring stability, security, and high performance across the digital workplace. Strong English and Swedish skills are required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with Linux infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Experience designing and managing secure, highly available infrastructure platforms.
• Hands-on automation, infrastructure as code and version-controlled workflows; strong scripting skills.
• Professional working proficiency in Swedish and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, resilient Linux-based platforms that support Axis' IT environment and product manufacturing.
• Take technical ownership of key security and infrastructure services, including certificate and secrets management, cryptographic infrastructure and DNS.
• Build and improve automation using infrastructure as code and Git-based workflows, with tools such as GitHub Actions and Ansible/AWX.
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions, and shape the architecture of our platforms.
• Plan lifecycle management so our platforms stay current and fit for purpose.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure solutions are well documented and supported.
