Job summary

Fortum Sverige AB is seeking a (Senior) Expert, Licensing to drive nuclear licensing in Sweden for new build projects. The role focuses on ensuring licenses are obtained timely and that reactor technologies can be licensed, with collaboration across cross-functional teams in Solna.

You will coordinate with authorities such as SSM, develop licensing documents, and influence national practices while supporting a hybrid work model and international travel where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience of the nuclear industry and knowledge of Swedish regulatory requirements
• Ability to coordinate and steer others in large assignments
• Good oral and written communication in Swedish and English

Responsibilities

• Contribute to licensing strategy ensuring Swedish nuclear legislation compliance
• Coordinate liaison with Swedish Radiation Safety Authority and authorities
• Develop application documents with cross-functional experts ensuring completeness
• Monitor renewal of nuclear energy legislation and practices
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate licensability of plant technologies
