Job summary

Videberg Kraft AB seeks a Project Director, Engineering to lead the Engineering function for Sweden's future nuclear power project. You will report to the CEO and shape the engineering governance, assurance and technical baseline, ensuring safe, licensable, constructible and operable outcomes.

You will drive integration across licensing, procurement, construction and commissioning, challenging technical solutions with suppliers and regulators while building a high-performing, safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree in engineering or relevant technical field.
• Extensive senior leadership experience on large, complex capital projects, preferably nuclear or other safety-critical industries.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering work through development, design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the owner-side engineering organisation to deliver a safe, licensable, constructible and operable nuclear power plant.
• Define the engineering strategy, governance model and technical assurance framework.
• Maintain ownership of the technical baseline and manage requirements, interfaces, design maturity, configuration and change.
• Ensure integration between engineering, licensing, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Represent Videberg Kraft in engagements with Rolls-Royce SMR and key suppliers, reviewing technical solutions and overseeing delivery.
