Job summary

Adavo AB is seeking an experienced DevOps Lead / Architect for a remote, B2B subcontractor role with a large global organization. You will drive Kubernetes architecture, establish standards, and lead distributed teams across multiple countries.

You should bring deep Kubernetes expertise, senior leadership, and practical hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, and IaC. This is a consultant role aimed at strategic technical leadership.

Qualifications

Senior DevOps Engineer/Lead with extensive experience in complex, production-grade enterprise environments.
Candidates with leadership experience, architecture influence, and guidance to other engineers are preferred.
Strong hands-on Kubernetes expertise and cloud-native platform design are required.

Responsibilities

Drive Kubernetes architecture and technical direction across platforms.
Design and evolve large-scale, production-grade Kubernetes platforms.
Act as a technical lead and Kubernetes SME for engineering teams.
Define Kubernetes standards, patterns and engineering best practices.
Lead and mentor distributed international teams and engineers.
Improve scalability, availability, security and reliability of platforms.
Work with AWS EKS and Terraform/IaC to shape cloud-native infra.
Design CI/CD and deployment processes for enterprise needs.
Collaborate with architects, developers and platform teams on strategic decisions.
